Colors of My Life Photobook

Wed Jul 22, 2009, 7:18 AM
Hello all,

I just finished designing the photo book, Colors of My Life, published by Blurb.

In it are featured 30 photographers (a few of which have dA accounts), and a portion of the proceeds go to the Hope For Children organization and their Children's Village in Chile, Las Mariposas.

Here's a link: [link]

Check it out!

your photos are simply amazing some of the places in your urban decay album are simply stunning. They remind me of a place in my area called LEtchworth. Have you heard of it? Some of the buildings there are just fantastic places to take photos at.

Thanks very much, I'm glad you enjoy them :)

I hadn't heard of Letchworth, is it in NY?

yes it is, its (i believe) exit 14 off of the palisades parkway north. Please look into it, the history there is fascinating. it used to be an asylum for the mentally retarded. They shut it down i believe in the 70's or 80's. Since then though, some of the buildings have not been touched, at least by non troublemaking hands. The place is literred with graffiti now because kids get an adventurous high when they go there. The place is haunted supposidly, by the souls that were tortured there during the sixties and such. They have there own crematory, factory, office and housing complexes as well as a morgue. Seriously, from the looks of your photography you would enjoy the place, i highly suggest you google it or something. If you want a taste of what the place is like please look at my photo "lonely chair" and my friend hyperhedra al;so has a few photos from letchworth.
